The Museum has the following health requirements before admittance:
· Masks are mandatory
· Required to sign in with name/address/phone number for tracking purposes as per NYS requirements for opening.
· If you have traveled, been in contact with someone who has tested positive, or displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 for the two weeks prior to visiting, you will be refused entry.
· No admission to festivals.
· The pass admits 2 adults and unlimited children under 12.
· Invitations to "Members Only" events
· Free admission to our lecture series "Naturally Speaking"
· 10% discount in the Museum Gift Shop

The Long Island Maritime Museum was founded in 1966 and is located on the historic West Sayville waterfront. The museum grounds, once part of the Meadow Edge estate of Mr. and Mrs. Anson Hard, is now comprised of fourteen acres and nine historic buildings. Charged with the mission of preserving Long Island’s maritime history and heritage for educational purposes, the Museum has been welcoming visitors from all over the world for over 40 years.
