How would you like
to search for a museum pass?

Welcome to the Huntington Public Library’s Museum Pass Program! Check out or print out an admission pass for one of the over 20 museums we are a member of and learn more about history, science, nature or art.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

There is a limit of 2 museum passes per family per month and only holders of an ADULT Huntington Public Library card in good standing can reserve them.

Passes may be reserved up to 60 days in advance.

There are two different kinds of museum passes in our collection:

1.    PICK UP and RETURN—these passes are checked out at the Customer Services Desk at our Main Street location. They are checked out for 3 days and we recommend you make your reservation for the day before your museum visit. These passes must be returned to the same Customer Services Desk by their due date and cannot be returned in the Book Return on Prospect Street. THESE PASSES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE WHILE THE LIBRARY IS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC.

2.    PRINT ON DEMAND-these passes may be printed out at home at the time you reserve them or at any time up to the day of your reservation. They do not need to be returned and are valid on the day of your reservation. PRINT ON DEMAND passes are indicated by the printer icon next to the museum name. You must bring the printed pass with you, DIGITAL VERSIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

A $10 per day fee is charged if a PICK UP and RETURN pass is returned past the scheduled due date. After three days past due, you will also be charged the replacement cost of the museum membership. If a pass is lost, patron will be responsible for the entire membership fee.

It is up to each museum to determine whether PRINT ON DEMAND passes can be loaned by the Huntington Public Library, we do not determine which type of pass a museum will honor.

Museum passes circulate to adult Huntington card holds in good standing only; participating museums reserve the right to deny admission to individuals who cannot identify themselves as HPL cardholders. (Bring your i.d. and library card as well as the pass you have printed out of borrowed.)

It is your responsibility to check with the museum prior to your visit for days and hours of operation. If a museum is open but is not accepting library membership passes that day, we will attempt to mark it "closed" for the day since our pass will not be accepted.

Click on the LEARN MORE link under each museum's name to find out more details about how many people each pass allows per visit, addresses and details about special events, etc.
